Panel Requests & Submissions

All panel suggestions should be sent to programming (at) a-kon.com for consideration.

Suggestions or requests must include who would run it including group affiliation if any, what equipment needs you might have, why you think it would be a good addition to the convention, a requested day and time, expected attendance, and a brief blurb or write-up for the program book. Be sure to include a VERY detailed description of what the panel would be over and why you’re the best folks to run it.

The earlier you do this, the more likely your idea is to be included. Some years we get requests as early as the August beforehand. If you wait until April, the answer will be no.
