Challenge Coin Design Contest Winner Anouncement
*Update:
Congratulations to Natalie Flowers on winning the Anime Military Association’s Challenge Coin Design Contest for A-Kon 24.
The Anime Military Association wants your help to design one side of our one-of-a-kind custom challenge coin for our Military Lunch at A-Kon 24. After last year’s success of running through 100 coins in less than 24 hours, this year we will be stepping it up to 151 coins all individually numbered from 0 to 150. The artist who comes up with the winning design will receive the #1 coin as reward and will be given credit at our table, the lunch event, and online. To be considered coins must meet all following guidelines:
- The design should reflect the same theme as A-Kon 24 “Gateway to New Beginnings.” Therefore we are asking that you incorporate a Torii Gate into the design in some manner.
- The design should have the follow information incorporated into the design:
- “A-Kon 24”
- Event dates, 31 May – 2 June 2013
- Some form of our name (i.e. Anime Military Association, AnimeMilAssn, A.M.A.)
- “Military Lunch”
- All work MUST be original. Please observe international copyright laws when creating your work. Do not use any copyrighted characters or work that has been created previously for other clients or by others. If you use any fonts in your design, please ensure that they are of your own design or are in the public domain.
- Design should be appropriate for all ages. Please avoid any inappropriate use or representation of violence, profanity, drugs, or sex in the artwork.
- Please try to submit only your best quality work. Keep in mind that the winning design will be placed on a 2-inch round coin.
All submissions should be emailed to anime.military.association@gmail.com with “Challenge Coin Design Contest” in the subject line. Deadline for submissions to be considered is 15 March 2013. The winner as well as his/her design will be announced by 1 April 2013. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us. To see past coin designs, check us out on Facebook. Thank You & Good Luck
