Monster Attack Team returns to A-Kon 24

The legion of Tokusatsu (Japanese special effects) fans has grown and so has the Monster Attack Team. This year, Captain Edward Holland and Art Director, Mike Keller are ushering in their publishing unit, Phil Kim and Ed Blair the heads of state from Famous Monsters of Filmland and eight time Hugo Award winning artist and Godzilla aficionado, Bob Eggleton. Add IDW Godzilla Legends’ and MAT cover artist Matt Frank to the mix along with August Ragone, author of, Eiji Tsuburaya: Master of Monsters: Defending the Earth with Ultraman and Godzilla, Rondo award winner, and Managing Editor for MAT, and you have A-KON’s biggest Japanese monster and hero knowledge base yet to date and possibly at any convention in the southwest. MAT will discuss their breakthrough re-launch with Famous Monsters of Filmland, share insights on the beasts and heroes from the east and bust out those infamous MAT door prizes and charity auction items, available nowhere else.
