Lisle Wilkerson grew up in Tokyo, Japan and moved to the US in 2008. She speaks fluent Japanese, and has working in the media/entertainment industry ever since the tender age of 19. She has worked with all the major radio and television stations in Japan, and continues to work with many of them to some capacity.
Lisle was in the Academy Award winning Sofia Coppola film “Lost in Translation”, and a few years later had her first principal role in the award winning critically acclaimed indie film “Kamataki”.
She is the powerhouse behind some of of the gaming industry’s most popular characters, such as Nina Williams and Christie Monteiro from the Tekken franchise, as well as Sarah Bryant from Virtual Fighter, just to name a few.
She is based in Los Angeles, and works freelance… everything from voiceover work, interpreting, producing various events, to working as the local correspondent for the Academy Awards, Grammys, Golden Globes, and the Emmys. Lisle currently hosts two entertainment shows for Japanese television, also does a lot of coordination and research for many high-profile Japanese media companies.
She also gets invited to many of the anime and video game conventions, where she hosts various panels, as well as signs autographs. And when she isn’t working or running around with her bright pink boxing gloves trying to save the world Nina Williams-style, she spends her time at home with her adorable jet-setting cat, Princess Genki.
