 </strong> is an initiative of the <a href='http://ala.org/' target='_blank
 '>American Library Association</a> to reconnect communities through their 
 libraries around the educational\, recreational\, and social value of all 
 types of games.</p>\n<p>In the 21st century\, libraries are about much mor
 e than books. On Saturday\, November 3\, 2012\, two thousand libraries aro
 und the world will showcase gaming programs and services in support of <em
 ><strong>IGD12</strong></em>. This year marks our 5th annual event. In 201
 1\, more than 27\,700 people played games at more than 1\,400 libraries ac
 ross the U.S. and in other countries.  The Denton Public Library and A-Kon
  are proud to host a local event of IGD12.</p>\n<p>Come to the Denton Nort
