IDOL Contest Judges
IDOL Contest Judges
Becky Taylor first fell in love with the Japanese language and culture through the music of Japan. Since studying abroad and completing a masters in Applied Japanese Linguistics in Australia, she has been teaching Japanese at the college level for six years. She endeavors to get students to engage with the language and culture both inside and outside of the classroom.
Her hobbies also include music composition, arrangement and performance. Writing her first composition at the age of 13, she continues to enjoy writing original compositions and creative arrangements on various themes. Along with singing, she enjoys playing the flute, piano and cello.
She enjoys participating in Ani-Idol as a judge since it gives her the rare opportunity to combine both her interests. She loves the dedication the contestants show to the lyrics, music, and most importantly their fellow contestants.
