  • Note: In order to accommodate pool style brackets for these events, Smash 4, Mortal Kombat XL, and Street Fighter V will have different registration procedures: their respective cut off times for sign ups will be 2 hours before event start, so the bracket schedule can be made available for viewing 1 hour before event start. The reason is to allow Kon goers to have more opportunities to visit other areas when their bracket is not in play.
  • Payout is 70/20/10 split of cash pot.
  • You are allowed (and strongly advised) to bring your own controller, subject to inspection by tournament judge.

Console Tournament Rules

General Rules
  1. All pool play except specified below is to be best 2 out of 3*
  2. Loser Finals and Grand Finals are 3 out of 5*
  3. Check In is 30 minutes before tournament start
  4. If a player does not show for their match, proceed to next match(as long as it does not hinder tournament progression)
  5. Double Elimination*
  6. Any Pausing during a match, unless agreed upon, is grounds for a round loss.
  7. *Excluding FFA Tournament Types. Single Elimination, One Match, Top 2 move on
STREET FIGHTER V
  1. Game version: US PlayStation 4
  2. Game Settings: Versus Mode, 99 Seconds, 2/3 Rounds, 2/3 Games, No Handicap
  3. Legacy Controller Mode is banned.
  4. All matches will be random stage select.
ULTIMATE MARVEL VS CAPCOM 3
  1. Game version: US Xbox 360
  2. Game Settings: 99 Seconds, 3/5 Games, Default Handicap, Default Damage
  3. You may not use any glitch that prevents the game from being played. This includes game freezing, game resetting, player freezing, dead body infinites, etc.
  4. Winner must keep exact same team (including assists), but may switch order of assists via loading screen.
  5. Galactus is banned in tournament play.
  6. No multiple characters are allowed on the same team.
KILLER INSTINCT
  1. Game version: US Xbox One
  2. Game Settings: 2/3 Games, 99 Seconds
  3. If the players do not agree on a stage within 15 seconds, the match will be random stage select.
  4. There will be no customizing colors, names or items at any time before or during a tournament match. Any player that does so will be given a loss.

  11. You may not choose a stage you have already won on unless mutually agreed to.
  12. You may not play on a stage that is not on the available stages list. This will result in a double disqualification.
  13. Maximum allowed time between games is 60 seconds. Any player violating this rule will be issued a loss.
  14. Sudden Death with a tied percentage/stock count will NOT determine the outcome of a tied game. A playoff match with 1 stock/2 minutes will determine the winner.
  15. There will be no loading anything on to the tournament consoles.
