Lolita and J-Fashion Showcase - Model Search

Lolita and J-Fashion Showcase - Model Search

Our J-Fashion track comes complete with a Fashion Show. But what's a Fashion Show without models?

Our show this year is a little colorful - we're looking both for individuals to model our brand designers' outfits and for individuals to showcase their exemplary J-Fashion and Harajuku street styles! Please sign up to model in our fashion show!

If you're signing up to model for one of our guests (Belladonna, Mossbadger, and the Lolita Collective), please be advised that all of the attire will be feminine in nature. Your measurements are required in the form to know which outfits will fit with the most flair and flattery. Your outfit will be decided by the guests.

If you're signing up to showcase your J-Fashion styles, please pick a style that originated in or is a prime model of Japanese street styles. Think less kimono and more Kyary. As our guests are primarily lolita designers, we will have a higher focus in other styles and Lolita substyles, but we will also choose flattering and astounding coordinates as well.

The deadline to submit an application is May 10th, by 11:59 PM CST. Models will be chosen and contacted by the 15th.

  • There is no minimum/maximum on height or sizing for the submissions.
  • You don't need to actively be part of a J-Fashion community or style in order to submit a form.
  • You don't need previous experience to be a model. Choices will include both novice and experienced alike.
  • Please be aware that for the showcase you are responsible for 100% of your attire. If your submission is chosen, please keep any amendments or changes to a minimum.
  • If you have any questions, please send them to: akonjfashion@gmail.com.
  • Apply by using the A-Kon J-Fashion Showcase Sign-Up Form
