Houston A on the 3rd floor of the Convention Center

Please join us in Houston A on the 3rd Floor of the Convention Center for this year's Phoenix Art Show.  The Phoenix Art Show functions as a gallery of fantasy, sci-fi, and anime art as well as a silent auction during regular show hours. You must have a buyer number to bid or purchase any piece in the show or at the live auction. Buyer numbers are available at the table outside the art show beginning at 10am Friday. The live auction Saturday night is for those pieces with four (4) or more silent bids. Please bring credit card, cash or check and be prepared to pay tax for any purchases made in the show or at the live auction.

Bidders are responsible for purchasing any piece they bid on. Please, only bid on what you can afford to buy. All purchased artwork must be picked up before 3pm on Sunday. Any art work won, but left and not paid for will go back to the artist at the close of show.

Artists are responsible for following the art show rules they agree to upon entry into the show which include not submitting any plagiaristic materials.  The Phoenix Art Show does on occasion display artwork with artistic nudity. While we do our best to place these pieces in appropriate places, parental guidance is suggested. Copies of the artist and bidder agreements will be made available at the show.

We do not allow food, drink, large props, cameras, or bags into the show and we cannot be held responsible for items left at the door. So visit us before you visit the dealer's room!

Thursday
6pm-7pm Pre-Reg Artist Reception and Hanging

Friday
9am-10:30am For Pre-Registered Artists Only
10:30-11:30am For Walk-in Artists (please do not line up prior to 10:15am)
1pm-6pm For the General Public and Art Show Contest Voting (must have buyer number to vote)

Saturday
9-10:30am For Pre-Registered and Dealers (with badge)
10:30-11:30am for Walk-in Artists
1pm-6pm For General Public

Saturday Night
9:15pm-?? Live Art Auction – Houston B
You must have a buyer number to participate in the live auction. Contest winners will be announced at the start.

Sunday
10am-3pm General Public Pick Up Auction Winnings
3pm-4pm Artist Pick up and Check Out

Walk-in space is not guaranteed, so if you found yourself without space to hang this year consider pre-registering at http://phoenix.sollitaire.com for next years show starting April 6th 2009.
