General Information on the J-Pop Room

All that is J-Pop and J-Rock at A-Kon®.

J-Pop

The J-Pop Room is here to fulfill your Japanese music needs. As one of the few rooms open 24 hours, we'll be showing music videos almost all A-Kon®, as well as hosting a number of J-Pop-related events. Come early and catch the J-Rock Revolution meet up on Thursday at 9PM, followed immediately after by a showing of the D'espairs Ray Spiral Staircase #15 live DVD, presented by JSHOCK.

Friday afternoon at 3PM is J-Pop Cosplay, so come dressed as your favorite rocker or starlet and maybe pick up a prize or two in the process! If getting your proverbial groove on is more your thing, come check out the dance on Saturday night starting at 7PM.

Or if visual rock is what really gets you going, we'll be having our annual VK Night from 11PM Saturday until the wee hours of the morning Sunday.

Whether you're just killing time between panels or you're a die hard Japanese music enthusiast, feel free to come on down and check us out!"
