Convention Hours

  • Thursday: 5:30 - 9:30 pm for pre-reg pickup, 7:00 - 9:00 pm for on-site
  • Friday: 8:00 am to 9:00 pm
  • Saturday: 8:00 am to 8:00 pm
  • Sunday: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Kat Hunter

Kat Hunter has lived in San Francisco since 2000 and is probably best known in the gaming world as a former member of the all-girl console gaming team, the Frag Dolls.
Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina she began working in the advertising industry in 1992 as a designer and journalist for The Easley Progress. Since then she has held various positions including: Creative Manager for The Lewis Group Advertising, Webmaster for GameDaily (AOL Games), and Lead Producer for EVB Advertising managing work for Wrigley and adidas. Most recently Kat has been hard at work producing two original content shows for AT&T Blue Room Gaming.
Kat also has been published in several online and offline gaming publications such as GamePro, GameDaily, 1up.com, GameTrailers, Yahoo! Games, and AT&T Blue Room Gaming.

Kat Hunter is the General Manager for the Championship Gaming Series Team, The San Francisco Optx

This is her first time to A-Kon.
