The Sheraton Hotel is across the street from the East Transfer Center. Here buses depart for many parts of the Dallas area. The hotel is also within a half mile of the West Transfer Center, other bus stops and DART HQ, map and schedule center. The hotel borders the Red and Blue Light Rail Lines, just between Pearl Station and St. Paul Station. These light trains run from around 3:45am to 12:30am to destinations in Richardson, Garland, or South Dallas, and connect to the Trinity Railway Express(TRE) at Union Station(also Greyhound Bus, AmTrack).  Trinity Rail Express. It runs between Fort Worth and Dallas. There is a station in South Irving. You are heading East towards Dallas. The final stop in Downtown Dallas is Union Station. Union Station is the same place you transfer to Dart rail. You may take any North bound train - Red or Blue line. From Union, you ride to Pearl station. From Union, you ride to Pearl station.  Trinity Rail Express goes as far west as the Texas & Pacific Station in downtown Fort Worth. Heading towards Dallas, anyone starting off from Texas & Pacific, up to Centrepoint/DFW airport station will have to pay $5 for a Premium day pass. Anyone riding from West Irving station onwards only has to pay $3. This map will show the station closest to you, and how much you'll have to pay. Passes are good on all DART rail and most DART buses. Again, it's important that anyone coming from Fort Worth up to Centrepoint/DFW airport must pay $5 for the Premium day pass.

Did you know?

With a free permit, during certain hours you can bring your bicycle on the bus or train.

If you need maps or information about using DART, call (214)979-1111, for a helpful live trip planner, or visit DART HQ on Akard and Pacific (just three blocks from the hotel). Or go to www.dart.org. Call (817) 215-8600 to speak the The TRE operators serving Fort Worth. The TRE can be found online at www.the-T.com.

Dart Park and Ride Lots

We all know that parking downtown is a real pain. The only good parking can be had at the parking garage at the hotel. The rest is on the street with meters, or in a parking lot downtown. Why play that game? Leave your car parked! We encourage con-goers to take advantage of DART's park and ride service, which allows you to park in remote DART lots all over town and ride the bus or light rail directly to the hotel. Please be aware, though, that Light Rail service does not run between 12:30am to 3:45am or so, and most buses do not run past 10:30pm, so plan your late nights accordingly.

Want food, but the places around the hotel do not inspire you? Consider taking the Light Rail North (Red or Blue) to Mockingbird Station, or the Red Line North to Lovers Lane Station or Park Lane Station for food.

You can also ride the light rail, Red or Blue, south to the West End Station, and walk to the West End, a downtown Restaurant and Shopping area.

Your DART pass is also good for destinations all over Fort Worth. It takes 30-40 minutes to get to Fort Worth taking the TRE every day but Sunday.

DART park and ride lots are designated No Overnight Parking, however, in practice we know those who have parked all night with no harrassment or trouble from the Transit Police. These lots are generally not tow-enforced. However, DART takes no responsibility for theft or vandalism of your parked vehicle. Leave the car at your own risk.
