4-Day Attendee

This membership grants admittance to all days of the event for attendees ages 13 and up. This is the best value option for attendees who want to make the most out of their A-Kon experience! This type of registration is offered all year long and scales in price as the event dates get closer.

4 Day Child

This membership grants admittance to all days of the event and is discounted for children ages 6-12. This type of registration is offered at a fixed discounted price all year long.

Parent In-Tow

This badge option is for parents who are there to accompany their children, but have no interest in taking part in the event themselves. The Parent-in-Tow badge is only available on-site by request and you must be accompanying your child at all times.

Single Day Attendee

Single day membership grants access to the event for the specific day it is purchased for. Single day admittance is usually posted for purchase approximately 60-90 days prior to the event. Currently, single day admission is available for Friday, Saturday and Sunday and all three days also grant access to Thursday as a bonus day as part of the registration.

Group Registration

You can register as a group with as few as 2 people. The main benefit of the group registration is to enable one person to pay for and pick up all the passes at the same time at the convention. We do not offer any group discounts at this time.

All pricing below includes a $5 non-refundable service charge which will show up as a separate line item on your checkout. Please note that should you cancel or request a refund, this non-refundable service fee will show up as a cancellation fee in your registration portal.

Add-On Activities are extra items you can purchase access to in addition to your A-Kon registration. These items are usually limited time or unique features that include things such as food, guest access, or special collectibles and access offerings.

A-Kon+ (available until 5/1) – $35

Upgrading to A-Kon+ allows you to skip the line and have a personalized, collectible A-Kon 2019 badge mailed to you prior to the con. No need to check-in when you arrive, just jump right into the event! See the full list of features below:

A-Kon+ is only available as an add-on to the 4-day Attendee registration. Mailed badges are only available to A-Kon+ holders. Attendees will be responsible for ensuring that their mailed badges make it to the event as registration will not have the ability to remake any A-Kon+ badges on-site.

If you don’t want to upgrade, no problem. You’ll still check-in and pick up your badge when you arrive at the con. You’ll still have access to everything at A-Kon.

Charity Banquet with the Stars – $75

Want a little extra time with that guest you’ve always wanted to talk to, in a more comfortable setting? The Charity Banquet is the event that you’re looking for! Join us on the Sunday of A-Kon for delicious food, fun, giveaways, games, guests and more!

Lolita Tea Party – $50

Join us for a celebration where fashion enthusiasts can meet and mingle with fashion designers and other special guests. With a tea party ticket, each attendee gains access to the tea party venue, an array of foods and drinks, and a special gift from the Fashion team.

I registered for A-Kon before the date and venue change, is my registration still valid?

If you have already pre-registered for A-Kon, the date and location change will not affect your registration and it is absolutely still valid. No action is required on your part, and there are no additional registration fees. In addition, any badges that were bought before 2am (Central Time) on January 16th, 2019 will receive a free A-Kon+ upgrade.

How do I make changes to an existing registration?

You can change your information by following the link send in your registration confirmation email. From this link you can also add activities like the Charity Banquet or Lolita tea, modify your contact information and mailing address.

When do single day registrations become available?

Single day badges usually become available between 60 and 90 days to the event and often coincide with a price increase date.

Do you currently offer military, teacher, and other individual discounts?

A-Kon does not currently offer additional discounts because we work very hard to keep the registration price as low as possible for everyone.

Can I transfer my registration to someone else?

You can change your information, including the name and email address of the badge holder, by following the link send in your registration confirmation email. Please be aware that transferring registrations with the A-Kon+ add-on applied have the following additional considerations:

If you transfer the registration to someone else before the A-Kon+ cutoff date, you must also update the A-Kon+ shipping address and attendee details.

If you transfer the registration to someone else after A-Kon+ cutoff date, you will need to contact us at to see if we are able to make this change for you. Please note that if your request is close to, or after, the mailing date we will not be able to transfer A-Kon+ to another person. You can however, transfer the registration and make arrangements on your own to get the A-Kon+ badge to them via some other means.

Has my A-Kon+ badge been mailed out yet?

A-Kon+ badges will be mailed out no later than 3 weeks prior to A-Kon and should arrive within 10 – 14 days of the event. Once your badge ships you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information to the email you used during registration. If you don’t see it, please check your spam folders before contacting customer service.

Please make sure your A-Kon+ information is up to date prior to the cutoff date as badges which are delivered and accepted will not be eligible for reprints or refunds once mailed.

Why isn’t there an option to have my name printed on my regular (non A-Kon+) badge?

In order to speed up the on-site registration process, only A-Kon+ badges that are mailed out prior to the convention will have pre-printed badge names on them. General admission badges will not have printed name identifiers on them, but we will have a place at the event where you can add your badge name yourself, if you would like.

Where is the A-Kon FastPass?

The A-Kon Fast Pass has been discontinued and replaced by A-Kon+. Please see information about this add-on activity above for more information.



Legal Name and ID

All attendees must register an individual name for each badge and that name must match a legal photo ID.

By registering for a paid or complementary A-Kon badge you agree not to sell, trade, transfer or share your comp code, email confirmation, or badge. In the event that A-Kon, LLC determines that you have violated this policy, A-Kon, LLC has the right to cancel your badge(s) and keep any money paid by you. Confirmations and/or badges that have been sold or provided by anyone other than A-Kon, LLC will not be honored. You must wear and display your badge at all times while onsite and at any official A-Kon event. All badges are the property of A-Kon, LLC and must be relinquished to A-Kon, LLC upon request. A-Kon reserves the right to refuse admission, to refuse service and/or to cancel/revoke your Member ID and/or badge at A-Kon’s discretion.

Authorization for Use of Image, Video, Words, and Information

By attending A-Kon, you permit and authorize A-Kon LLC, and its employees, agents and personnel who are acting on behalf of A-Kon LLC, use of the following items taken during the conference for purposes of publicity, marketing and promotion without compensation.

You understand the above may be subject to reasonable modification or editing and may be reproduced and distributed by means of various media, including but not limited to publications, video or digital presentations, news releases, brochures or websites. You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product, or any material in which A-Kon, LLC may eventually use any item indicated above. You release A-Kon, LLC from any and all liability related to dissemination of any item indicated above.

Replacement Badges

Lost or stolen badges that were printed onsite can be replaced at a cost of $25 (one day) and $35 (four day) and is at the discretion of A-Kon,LLC. Damaged badges can be returned and replaced onsite. Mailed A-Kon+ badges cannot be replaced.


The deadline to request a refund for tickets is 5:00 pm (CST) Monday, April 15, 2019. Requests received after 5:00 pm (CST) Monday, April 15, 2019 will not be eligible to receive a refund. The ticket purchaser will receive 100% of the base ticket fee and items purchased. Donations and service fees are non-refundable.

Cancellation requests must be emailed to and must be received by 5:00 pm (CST) Monday, April 15, 2019. Cancellation requests must be sent from the email account that was used during the ticket purchasing process and include the following information in the body of the email: First name, last name, email address used when purchasing the ticket, and phone number. Also, please provide the reason for the request and any additional details you deem necessary.


Transfer requests must be emailed to and must be received by 5:00 pm (CST) Wednesday, May 15, 2019. Transfer requests must be sent from the email account that was used during the ticket purchasing process and include the following information in the body of the email: First name, last name, email address used when purchasing the ticket, and phone number. Also, please provide the reason for the request and any additional details you deem necessary. Transfer confirmations will be sent within two weeks of when the following year’s registration portal becomes available.
